Academy Head COach

Craig Bowker

Craig is the Head Coach of CB Coaching Academy Ltd, bringing over a decade of coaching experience across the West Midlands. He has led and supported player development programmes at grassroots and advanced levels, with many players under his guidance successfully transitioning from community football into academy pathways.

Often the silent driving force behind coaching environments, Craig has supported multiple coaching businesses to raise player potential and create sustainable development models. His passion is clear: helping every player unlock their next level.

Craig holds the UEFA B Licence and a Master’s Degree (MSc) in Football Coaching and Performance Analysis from the Global Institute of Sport. This academic and practical expertise allows him to combine cutting-edge performance insights with real-world coaching delivery.

Beyond the academy, Craig contributes to both local and national FA initiatives in coach and player development, underlining his commitment to raising standards in football at every level.

Alongside his work in the West Midlands, Craig has gained valuable international coaching experience, broadening both his perspective and his practice. He has coached with Prep Schools District teams at the prestigious Gothia Youth World Cup in Sweden, guided players on development tours in Holland, and delivered sessions in the United States.

These opportunities have allowed Craig to experience different football cultures and player development approaches, which he brings back into his own coaching environments.

Craig remains open to supporting more international coaching opportunities across Europe and further afield, continuing his mission to share knowledge, develop players, and learn from global best practice.
